An exciting project with an unusual context: a building with15000 sqft. built up on an acre of land at Dimapur, Nagaland - DESIGNED ENTIRELY PER 9 PRECEPTS OF BIOENERGETIC ARCHITECTURE!
· It is planned around two existing trees at the site and the architecture is meant to ‘MIRROR’ the rich cultural and craft traditional of KHACHARI TRIBE – one of the oldest communities in Nagaland with a history dating back to 13th century.
· A project – FOR THE TRIBE AND BY THE TRIBE – with the idea that design involves tribal crafts-persons adept at bamboo crafts, basket weaving, wood carving and stone masonry.
· Aayadi vaastu became the framework for masterplanning and the clients were delighted with the end product. A trust is being established by the community to start construction!
